Course details

The Diploma consists of a combination of theory classes conducted face to face with the trainer and practical clinic which will include both individual and group activities, students working with and on each other, and on ‘real’ clients on student clinic days.

We only take a limited number of students in each class, ensuring you a quality, professional and nurtured training. You will totally maximize your learning experience in our friendly, comfortable, modern environment.

Students will be required to have access to a computer or an iPad to complete this course. There are computers for students on campus who need them.

The course is offered three days per week over one year.

Course pathways

SHB50110 Diploma of Beauty Therapy is a pathway to the SIB70110 Vocational Graduate Certificate in Intense Pulse Light and Laser Hair Reduction.

Students who have successfully completed the AQF-accredited Diploma of Beauty through Doyles Academy will likely receive admission into the Southern Cross University, Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management degree (Health and Wellness Major) and up to eight units of advanced standing credit towards the award.

The 24-unit degree comprises 12 core units and 4 units of industry-based practical experience from Students admitted into the program with a recognised Diploma of Beauty award from Doyles Academy will receive advanced standing credit for eight units and will just need to complete 16 units of study to achieve their undergraduate degree:
